Who I Am ?
I am Kunal Dhumal, a passionate and detail-oriented professional who has recently completed an Masters in Food Technology from MIT ADT University, Pune. With a strong academic foundation, I also hold a B.Tech degree in Food Technology from K.K. Wagh College of Food Technology, Nashik, graduating with distinction and an impressive CGPA of 8.32. My journey in food technology reflects my unwavering commitment to innovation, food safety, and quality assurance.
Science has always been my area of interest and I have enriched my knowledge through extensive visits to various food and beverage industries during my B.Tech and M.Tech programs. These visits have provided me with valuable insights into industrial operations, quality standards, and processing techniques, further strengthening my understanding of the field.
During my academic career, I have undertaken impactful projects that showcase my technical expertise and creative thinking. These include the development of multigrain truffle balls, a nutritious and wholesome snack alternative and multigrain vegan chicken, a plant-based protein product catering to the growing demand for sustainable food options. For my master's dissertation, I focused on the development of a spray-dried powder of mandarin, fig, and grape pomace drink, evaluating its reconstitution properties, stability, and techno-economic feasibility.
My practical experience includes an internship at Mahindra Agri Solutions Ltd., where I gained hands-on exposure to process optimization, quality control, and supply chain management. This experience allowed me to apply my academic knowledge to real-world challenges, ensuring food quality and safety while optimizing production systems.
To complement my education, I have earned certifications in HACCP, FOSTAC, Power BI, Project Managemen and FSSC 22000, among others. I have also actively participated in workshops and conferences, such as sessions on food packaging quality evaluation and international conferences on global food technology trends. These opportunities have further enriched my understanding of food science and its applications in the industry.
In addition to my technical expertise, I bring a range of valuable skills, including attention to detail, effective communication, project planning, and a positive approach to teamwork. My adaptability and problem-solving abilities position me as a strong contributor in dynamic work environments.
Rooted in Dawachwadi-Nashik-Maharashtra-IND, I remain deeply connected to my community, which inspires me to develop innovative and sustainable food solutions. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to the food industry by blending scientific principles with creativity to address challenges and drive progress.
